Hampton Inn Somerset

The breakfast was exactly right, neatly laid out, and everything was prepared as it should be. The woman handling it was an absolute delight. I’ve been a lifetime Hilton Diamond member and stayed in hundreds of Hilton hotels, especially Hamptons, and this Hampton Inn has it all going on. From the warm greeting last night to Diamond-member recognition, the complimentary snack, the spread of cookies and fresh evening coffee, it all felt well run. My room was very clean, the bed super comfortable, and the shower was great. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I’ll stay here whenever I’m in the area, and highly recommend it.

The location is convenient, right off the highway and close to gas stations and restaurants. My room had recently been renovated with contemporary Hampton furnishings, and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. No complaints from me, and I’d stay again without hesitation.

We checked out in a hurry and my wife left her wedding ring in the room. I called the front desk, and Caleb P answered. He found the ring right away and mailed it to us without hesitation. Thanks, Caleb, for being honest and so helpful to your guests. I hope the company recognizes your efforts. You made our New Year!

The rooms are clean and updated, and the shower was great, though there’s no tub. Breakfast was decent, with both hot and cold choices. The hotel is handy to the PA turnpike, but it’s next to a truck stop and was noisy even on the back side. Light sleepers should bring earplugs or use white noise to block it out.
