Springhill Suites Somerset Franklin Township

The indoor pool and tidy exercise room were real perks, and breakfast had a surprisingly good range of choices. We were visiting Somerset, NJ with family and found the property clean and well kept. Everyone we dealt with was warm and helpful, so check-in and checkout both felt easy. The location was convenient for the area too. We’d happily come back.

We were here for a family wedding yesterday, and both the service and stay were exceptional. The front desk team was kind, and the rooms and hallways stayed clean. For what feels like a luxury hotel, the price was affordable. I’d give it 10 stars. Thanks for a great stay.

Even with a confirmed reservation and all the booking details provided, the front desk wouldn’t make a simple change or explain why. The flat refusal came with an attitude, and there was no effort to help. Arndy was the front desk person I dealt with. From the moment I arrived at SpringHill Suites in Somerset, staff seemed to treat guests as a nuisance. Questions brought eye rolls and dismissive, disrespectful replies. Other Google reviews describe rude staff, poor training, and no accountability too, so this seems to be a recurring issue. I’ve also seen other guests mention arbitrary rules and management not addressing complaints. It’s embarrassing for a place carrying the Marriott brand. This location needs retraining, new management, or some kind of reset. If you’re considering a stay, there are other area hotels that understand hospitality. I’d save my money and sanity. SpringHill Suites Somerset is not one of them.

Parking was easy, and the rooms were clean and nice. The air conditioning was a little noisy, though, and the indoor pool is quite small. Breakfast choices were very limited, basically a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, and either bacon or sausage.
