Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the dining area was quaint and very clean. The B&B follows themes, Valentine’s Day was great, and they pay attention to local events and happenings. It has lovely vintage charm, and our bedroom and bathroom were clean and cozy. I also liked the option in each room to buy a local wine bottle, two glasses, and a souvenir cork. The website was easy to use. Hospitality was A++ from the owner, staff, and innkeeper. They made booking and our stay a breeze, were extremely accommodating, and were happy to share advice about the community, restaurants, and things to do. The owner is passionate about her business and its journey, as she should be. We were lucky to spend the last part of breakfast talking with her and exchanging ideas. Victoria Resort B&B is definitely going on our list of favorite places to stay in Michigan!

We came for a three-night stay over Ice Breakers Festival weekend and loved it. The breakfasts were amazing, and Elizabeth is an excellent cook. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, nice fireplace, and jet tub. We tried the dry sauna twice and enjoyed it. Everyone on staff was kind and friendly. We’re excited about the retreats and special events they have planned, and will definitely come back.

It was the perfect place to slow down, recharge, and take the weekend as it came. My husband and I had a wonderful, quiet getaway, our first since our now two-year-old joined the family, with our second due next month.

The location was perfect and South Haven is great, which is why I gave two stars. The cottages are expensive, breakfast isn’t included, and the cost for what you get is ridiculous. Cottage D was disgustingly dirty and smelled moldy and musty. It was falling apart: the front steps were coming apart, and the small back deck had completely rotted wood, with holes where pieces had fallen away. The kitchen didn’t match, with only two wine glasses and mismatched silverware. How hard is it to get four matching forks? The stove was filthy and covered in burn marks. We didn’t use it because it sat inches from a wall and had no fan. There were two loud window AC units, and it was always too cold or too hot. The larger bedroom had an unsafe step-up and subpar linens. The second bedroom only had an uncomfortable twin bed with awful linens. They obviously spent $1000s of dollars on new pickleball courts. Why not put some of that money into updating the cottages? $1000 would completely transform the place.

We had an awesome honeymoon here and are already planning to return for our anniversary. The room was great, the whirlpool tub was clean, breakfast was awesome, and the location was perfect.
