La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Jordan

The Front Runner Station was nearby, and we used it to get downtown to the Western Expo at the Salt Palace. The breakfast was decent for a motel, and the breakfast staff kept the area clean and stocked. We had a King Suite, and the property was clean, the bed was comfortable, and noise from other rooms was minimal. My wife and I stayed two nights at LaQuinta Inn in South Jordan, February 11 and 12, checking out on the 13th. It was our first time at this property, though we’ve stayed in the SLC area many times. This was our best stay there so far. We’d recommend it and stay again.

The front desk woman was accommodating and had a good personality. I spoke with her several times, and every interaction went well. The open space in the room also made it easy to check for anything we might have left behind. That said, the room felt awkward because it was so big and not laid out well. The furniture didn’t seem proportional to the space, and that affected how it felt to spend time in there. The bathtub spigot was broken or coming away from the wall when I arrived. I still enjoyed my stay.

Mary, Tina, and GM Lauren at the front desk were all welcoming, kind, and friendly. We found the hotel clean and well kept, in a safe area with plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and activities. My family enjoyed the hot breakfast, pool, fitness room, and the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate machine in the lobby. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the rooms worked great for my family during our holiday stay.

After three stays for concerts in the area, this has become my go-to place when I need somewhere in the Salt Lake area. It’s easy to reach, in a quiet spot, and close to food and gas. The pool and hot tub are always clean and tidy, and breakfast has lots of great options. The hotel is well kept, clean, and friendly. I love staying here as a solo traveler!
