We’ve stayed here since 2020, and I’ve always felt at home. Angie and Lloyd used to welcome us and make things comfortable. We miss Angie, but now Lloyd, Dave, and Erika give us the same feeling. Lloyd goes above and beyond to make us feel like family. If you get to stay at Doc’s cottages, I’m sure you’ll have a lovely visit with people who care. And you’ll be close to everything.

This is my regular choice for South Lake stays. The location is unbeatable, Dave is courteous and responsive, and the rooms come in different styles with extra amenities I wouldn't expect.

We come to Docs Cottages at least once a year, sometimes twice. It’s clean, affordable, cozy, and in a great location. Lloyd, the owner, likes to stop by and visit whenever we’re there, and Dave, who runs the place, is always fun. He also runs “The Shack,” where you can rent beach gear, sunscreen, and more. Highly recommend Docs Cottages!

Over Labor Day Weekend we had a fantastic time at Doc’s Cottages. Having our own cottage and parking spot was especially nice during such a busy weekend, and everything was very clean and well maintained. Dave, the manager, answered all our questions quickly and was extremely helpful. You can walk to everything in Stateline, and the prices were great. A must-stay for a trip to South Lake Tahoe.

My brother had one cottage while my husband and I stayed in another, so we could have privacy and still be close. Friends and family have stayed at docs cottages several times, and we love this cozy place. It’s around a block and a half from the casinos, restaurants, and cafes, and about two blocks from the beach. Booking is convenient, the location is great, and the prices work for us. There aren’t extra fees besides taxes and a small CA fee of $5, I think. Definitely a hidden gem.
