The room was cozy, neat, and clean, and the location was great, near Heavenly Village and across from the beach. We arrived early during Christmas week because the winter weather meant we couldn’t roam around, and they let us check in since the room was ready.

The in-room jacuzzi was a hit, and there was plenty of parking. The room was spacious and clean, the service was good, and check-in went smoothly. The complimentary coffee at reception was some of the best in South Lake Tahoe. Loved the property.

We booked the King suite for our honeymoon and regretted it after the first night of our multi-night stay. There were missing bulbs in the fixtures, someone’s old Red Bull bottle under the bed, exposed cords and wires beside the tables, and blood on the sheets. The couch had mysterious “white stains” all over and looked untouched. Hot water lasted only about 5-10 minutes before turning cold. Mirrors all over the room faced the bed, which gave the room a bad feeling. We left early on our last night because we couldn’t bear it anymore. The hotel staff provided good service, but the room was just bad. We wouldn’t come back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the complimentary bikes and the great location, close to everything. The price was superb, too. The rooms were roomy, the bed was very comfy, and the jacuzzi tub was awesome and a nice surprise. Free coffee and tea from 630-q0am was a nice touch. We’d recommend it and stay again!

The room had a Jacuzzi, which was especially nice during a cold winter storm. South Tahoe worked well as a base, with decent food nearby and Heavenly village very close.
