Hampton Inn South Plainfield-Piscataway

We came for one night and somehow stayed six. After busy days in New York, this clean, welcoming hotel was a great place to unwind. The kids loved the pool so much they didn’t want to get out, day or night, and it was nice and clean. Breakfast had good hot food and tasty waffles, and the staff were kind. There are lots of places to eat nearby, including pho, sushi, Applebee’s, Long Horn Steak House, and a French bakery, plus plenty of Asian stores. Best of all, no mosquitoes!

The breakfast attendant was so patient with my kids while they made waffles and added whipped cream. I didn’t catch her name, but she was really sweet. Theresa at the front desk was just as wonderful. She had everything ready when we walked in, remembered my name, and helped us get an early check-in. She even offered umbrellas for my family. You can tell she really cares about how guests are treated, and that meant a lot. Thank you!

We got caught here during a storm and flooding, and Mike, the manager, and the rest of the staff did so much to make things comfortable for our whole family. He even found coloring pages and crayons for our daughter. While I was writing this at breakfast, I saw Mike helping plenty of other guests in the same thoughtful way. He may be the best hotel manager I’ve come across. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower had strong pressure with several settings, and the breakfast was amazing. We didn’t get a chance to swim, but the pool looked really nice. There’s also complimentary coffee, tea, and water in the lobby around the clock. Couldn’t ask for more.

Hanna was excellent, and I also want to thank the room attendant for doing such a great job. The staff were outstanding, and I really enjoyed my stay. I’ll be back very soon and would definitely recommend this location. 😊
