At checkout, we stopped to speak with someone we knew, and a man came out of his room carrying a baton. He yelled that we had to leave and stop spreading rumors, threatened us with it, and said his wife would knock us out. I definitely don’t recommend this place. Earlier, we woke up at 7 covered in bed bug bites. The room was dirty and falling apart. When we told the woman at the front desk, she basically called us liars. Maintenance came, glanced at each bed for about 20 seconds, then walked off without a word, leaving us outside in the cold. He said there were no bugs and that we’d have to find one ourselves if we wanted a refund. We found one behind the headboard. He called it a “mint bug,” but we have pictures and it was a bed bug.

The room had a refrigerator and microwave, and the management seemed on top of things. Breakfast was cheap, though the coffee was fresh. There were no bed bugs. You get what you pay for, but at this price, the place is decent overall.

It was quiet, and this was the cheapest hotel we could find nearby. We stayed one night in a clean room with two beds and a couch that folded out into another bed. There was a decent-sized flat-screen TV, a microwave, and a small fridge.

The beds were really comfortable, and the place was quiet. I needed somewhere clean and inexpensive to sleep after a family emergency, and this tidy, basic motel room worked out much better than I expected. I arrived around 2:00 AM on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend, when other places were booked, and I’d been nervous about staying at a budget hotel. The bathroom was nicely updated, with none of the mold or mildew I’ve encountered at pricier hotels. There’s basic cable and a little fridge for snacks, but no coffee maker. Dunkin Donuts is right across a street that wasn’t too busy, so I went there. I didn’t try the Wi-Fi, and I can’t say whether they actually serve the continental breakfast mentioned in the description. There’s no pool. I’d absolutely stay here again.
