Lamberson Guest House

The happy hour was a lovely chance to mingle with Chris, Resa, and the other guests, and as a solo traveler I especially appreciated how comfortable they made me feel. They also know the area and beyond, and were so helpful with reservations and recommendations. The breakfasts were amazing, and Resa could easily have been classically trained. The Lamberson Guest House is beautiful and clearly well cared for. Every room feels thoughtfully decorated, both welcoming and functional. This was an amazing experience, and I can't imagine another B&B topping it. I highly recommend staying here.

We felt at home in this beautiful historic house, thanks to Chris and Resa, who were so warm and welcoming. The gourmet breakfasts and the evening happy-hour snacks, drinks, and treats were delicious. We truly enjoyed our time at the Lamberson Guest House and highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Chris and Resa had great suggestions for things to do and restaurants, and everything we tried on their recommendation was exceptional. They served delicious breakfasts both mornings with a smile, and I don't think I've ever felt sheets as soft as the ones in our lovely, well-appointed Maud room. Happy hour on the patio was a great way to ease into our mini-vacation. The hosts thought of every detail, and I felt pampered and well cared for. It was an interesting and relaxing stay.

The afternoon happy hour on the patio is a favorite, and the house sits on the bluffs overlooking Galena and the river. One afternoon, a brief shower came through while we were on the porch in the rocking chairs, and then a beautiful rainbow appeared over downtown. Staying at the Lamberson House is always a treat. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and lovely, and the house itself is beautiful. Resa and Chris Larson take good care of you and make it easy to relax.
