Hotel V San Francisco Airport

I rented a room here in March, and when I lifted the mattress to check for bedbugs and cleanliness, the sheet underneath was obviously overdue for a change. It had hairs of different colors, crumbs, and dust all over it. A staff member saw me looking and got angry. After I asked for a clean sheet, she told the owner I had put the mess there, and they accused me of doing it themselves. They kept my money and refunded nothing. The staff were snarky and the owner was rude, and I felt they had no respect for guests. The hotel was extremely dirty. Don't spend your money or time here.

I spent two weeks here on a business trip, and the staff were pleasant every time I dealt with them. They seem to care about the hotel and keep working to improve it and make stays better. My room was cleaned daily, the parking was plentiful, and there were restaurants within walking distance. Even small touches like trash cans in the parking lot were appreciated. Good quality for the price.

For what it costs, Rodeway is the best option on the street. It's comfortable, cozy, tidy, and felt secure. The staff were courteous and kind, especially the woman who checked me in. She was accommodating and treated me really well. I'd definitely recommend Rodeway.

We called ahead to ask about a room near the airport, parking where we could leave our car, and an airport shuttle. They said those were available, but once we arrived the situation was different and they wanted extra money for everything. When we chose to leave instead, they refused and said they'd charge the card on file. They blamed a wrong website and said this happens all the time, but were hostile and wouldn't work anything out. I'd give zero stars if I could.
