enVision Hotel St. Paul South

I was here for about five and a half months as a traveling worker, and most of the stay was great. The one issue was ballroom events: on three occasions, I think, the music got loud enough to hear from my third-floor room. Hannah was by far the nicest employee to talk with, and I often stopped in the lobby for a quick chat. The rest of the staff were very nice too.

We booked with Park Sleep Fly and had a fantastic experience. When our car wouldn’t start, the hotel staff went out of their way to help us. Everyone was super friendly, and we’ll stay here again when we’re in the cities or flying out of MSP.

I’ve been here about an hour and already regret booking. There’s no hot water, and apparently the hotel knows it isn’t working but is still selling rooms. I booked two nights and was told I can’t get a refund. The water doesn’t even reach room temperature, so how are employees washing their hands properly? I guess they aren’t. The place is dirty, the rooms don’t look like the pictures, and the location is ugly and inconvenient. I’ve never stayed at a hotel without a microwave in the room. There are overflowing trash cans in the hallway, even though there seem to be maybe four guests in the whole hotel. The pool looks like at least four people have died in it. My room’s heater doesn’t work properly either, which is fantastic in a Minnesota winter. You could save money at Motel 6 and at least take a shower. Whoever owns this hotel should be embarrassed.

The front desk staff were amazing, patient, and kind. My flight made an emergency weather landing in Minneapolis a few months ago, and I arrived late at night with a hotel voucher confirmed by the airline. They were trying to accommodate passengers from canceled flights, and there weren’t enough rooms for everyone. Staff stayed late to help find more rooms and offered snacks and bottled water, which made a stressful situation so much better. I got to shower and sleep for a few hours before catching my next flight to my destination. Thank you all so much!
