I didn’t stay. Within minutes of arriving, I found several cockroaches and saw that the ceiling was falling apart. The room was basically a closet with a bed, nothing like the online photos, and I’d paid almost $200. Getting any money back took days of arguing, and they only refunded part of it. I still feel they’re trying to swindle me. I have videos of the roaches, and I’m calling the health department. I hope the place gets shut down soon.
The bedbugs were biting me, and when I showed a video, they still refused to refund me. The man behind the glass offered another room, but it had trash on the bed and clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the last guest. My first room was filthy too: dirty sheets, a dirty tub and washcloth, and a blood stain on the dangie.
The heater was useless in the winter, just blowing cold air. There were stains on the curtain beside the bed, and no stoppers for the bathtub.
Room 117 lost all its electricity, and the tub was dirty. In room 219, the door wouldn’t lock from outside and the bed was old and lumpy. Both rooms sucked.
I cancelled the second of my two nights. For the same price I’ve had nice rooms at other hotels, but this one had holes in the walls, no fridge, nowhere to hang clothes, and no chair for what looked like a desk. I even had to call someone to fix the TV. The dimmer switch knob was off, too. I’d booked the jetted room after a friend recommended the place and the online pictures showed nice rooms and a swimming pool. At check-in, the receptionist said I had no reservation without asking my name. I reminded her we’d spoken earlier in the week and showed her the number I called and my confirmation number. She eventually checked and found my booking. The location I stayed at didn’t have swimming. The online reviews seem to cover both locations. Never again.
