Homewood Suites by Hilton Southington, CT

Loved the huge bathroom, and the room was great. The pool was wonderful too, though it could be a smidge warmer. It was also handy being able to reach the front desk by text.

We had a smooth, comfortable wedding weekend here, and Steven made it easy to arrange a room block for our guests without an extra holding charge. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and booking was simple. It worked well for our group, with spacious rooms, some with as many as three beds, and an easy layout. The hotel felt clean and homey. There was plenty to do: breakfast, a basketball court, pool, gym, and outdoor seating by the fire pit. The breakfast was delicious, and we liked everything we tried. A Dunkin’ is right next to the hotel, just outside the front door. I’d definitely recommend it for wedding parties or groups.

When my car battery died while I was visiting family, reception quickly called Johnny, the maintenance tech. He came right out and got the car running in no time, even though helping with a car isn’t the hotel’s responsibility. That kind of care from the staff makes the place feel like home and part of a real community. The whole team is fantastic, from reception and the kitchen to cleaning and maintenance. They’re always welcoming and make sure the stay is comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is extremely pet friendly. Staying at Homewood Suites in Southington, CT made visiting family more pleasant than ever. I’d highly recommend Homewood Suites if you’re looking anywhere around Southington, CT.

I especially liked the location, with lots of familiar restaurants nearby, from Thai and Italian to steakhouse, pizza, Japanese, and a local brewery. It’s convenient to try different foods without driving far. My room faced a lovely area of trees, and choosing the right side gets you a better view. The King Suite was roomy and comfortable, with a living room and kitchen. Service was great and cleanliness was generally good, though the living room carpet and couch could use more cleaning. Breakfast was good, but more variety and daily changes would make it better. I really enjoyed the stay and would come back for the spacious suite, location, friendly service, and relaxing feel.
