Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eagan - Minneapolis Area by IHG

We stayed for nine days and had nothing to complain about. Housekeeping greeted us with smiles and responded quickly whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was very good, with hot fresh food that was kept clean and well stocked. Lori called us by name throughout the stay and always greeted us with a hello and welcome back. Our flight was canceled, so I called and Thomas held our reservation until we arrived two days later. Lori was helpful and concerned when I updated her about the delay. Georgia greeted us politely with a smile when we finally got in after midnight. I never got to meet Jason, the GM, but I wanted him to know what a great job his staff does. It's nice to be able to give compliments!

We stayed four nights, checking in Monday, and had requested housekeeping for Wednesday. The desk agent didn't mention that staff would be away at a conference at another location that day. Then five inches of snow fell, so there was no housekeeping as planned. The front desk did provide fresh towels and toilet paper when we asked, and said we'd receive $50 per night for the next two nights. At checkout Friday, I asked how the compensation would work. The agent said they couldn't help because we'd prepaid in full through Expedia. When I asked to speak with a manager, they told me to call Monday morning. The snow also hadn't been cleared properly from the parking lot, and by Friday it was so icy you needed skates to get around. I nearly fell twice.

Breakfast was simple, but more than adequate for what I needed. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and easy to get around. Thomas went well out of his way to get me from the airport after a very long, difficult travel day. The next morning, David at the desk was just as kind and willing to help however he could. I'd recommend the hotel based on the service alone. Thanks to everyone for making the end of my vacation so enjoyable.

We had a nice stay while traveling for work and were able to get things done. I used both the business area and the gym. The hotel and services were good, and the staff were kind and helpful. Thank you!
