Days Inn by Wyndham Eagan Minnesota Near Mall of America

For a week, this place was exactly what I needed, and it was affordable. Shiva was so helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the hot tub was a nice extra. McDonald’s is just around the corner. I'll come back if I need somewhere to stay again.

The pool, hot tub, and sauna were great, the rooms were fairly quiet, and parking was free with enough spaces. The staff were very friendly too. My one issue was towels. There weren't any at the pool, so we asked and got just two, with a promise that more were in the dryer. Later, three more were brought over, but a family of three had arrived before we left, so we didn't take them. I usually don't pack towels for a hotel, but I will when we come back. We'd use this location again. It's close to Trader Joe's, Chiptole, MOA, and more. The workout room looks great, though I haven't used it yet.

The shuttle was the best part of the hotel. They'd take us about 10 miles out, were always available, and came quickly whenever we called for a pickup. The room was a good size, but the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There was no coffee maker, and staff couldn't keep coffee made in the morning or through the day. Staff were nice enough, and breakfast was nothing special. The pool was nice. The hot tub timer worked sometimes and didn't other times. I didn't try the sauna.

What I expected to be a relaxing trip with two family members turned tiring and annoying. We got our first room around 3, and my aunt checked the bed. The sheets had pee, poop, and blood stains, plus boogers, and there were coffee stains on the floor and long black hairs on the bed. They gave us two other rooms, but both were even dirtier. The whole building was dirty and smelled like weed. We had video and photo proof, but they said we couldn't get a refund. When I told staff about the weed smell, one worker said it wasn't a big deal and that it was fine. We checked the website and spoke with an AI that said the workers shouldn't be doing that. I wouldn't recommend this terrible hotel.
