Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Southlake

The bar and restaurant had a stylish feel, good food, and friendly service. I also met Mark and his wife, a lovely local couple who showed the kind of hospitality Southlake is known for. The front desk gentleman upgraded me to a corner king suite with wraparound windows and a stunning view. From arrival, everyone made me feel welcome and at home. I stay at many Marriott properties, and this is one of the nicest. The body wash and shampoo smell great, too. I’d happily recommend this place if you’re passing through Southlake.

Kelly in the restaurant really stood out. She was attentive and personable, and made the meal feel like something to enjoy instead of rush through. The food and atmosphere were upscale but still comfortable, never stuffy. I’ve stayed at more Marriott hotels than I can count as a Titanium Elite member, and the Delta Hotel in Southlake is among my favorites. The staff made me feel welcome right away. The young woman at the front desk, whose name started with J, was warm, professional, and gracious. She surprised me with an upgrade to a corner king suite, and the view through those wraparound windows was breathtaking. After all those hotel nights, it’s the people that stay with me, not thread count or amenities. This place has the right people. If you’re coming through Southlake, it’s one to look forward to.

The location felt safe, and our late night arrival was easy: the staff welcomed us and checked us in quickly. The hotel was spotless and well cared for, with warm, professional service throughout. I especially appreciated the Starbucks downstairs and the club access for privileged members. The fitness options and lounge areas were also well set up for comfort. During my quick visit to Texas, this was one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. It’s modern, clean, and has a calm atmosphere that made it easy to settle in. Great choice for the Southlake or Dallas area.

The fitness center is bigger than most hotel gyms and has plenty of equipment. Rooms are spacious and clean, too. It’s handy for shopping and the interstate.
