Motel 6 Elkhart, IN

The room was mostly clean, but the blankets had stains. I booked because the website showed breakfast, and I saw a man with a plate while I was heading downstairs. When I asked at the desk, the employee laughed and said there was no breakfast, even though it was 20 minutes before the listed end time. He said it ended at nine. As a breastfeeding mother, I’d chosen this place so I wouldn’t have to wait to feed myself. I won’t stay again. There were also people I took to be drug addicts moving around the property. That may not be the company’s responsibility, but it’s worth knowing if you don’t want that kind of environment. I wish I’d known more before booking. Live and learn.

Motel 6 has been really good to us. The employees are friendly and nice, and they put up with my little brats, lol. I’ve seen how hard the staff try to help guests, even extending their time so they can come back. It’s not okay when people treat them badly and then leave terrible reviews that bring them down for no reason. They do their best to help people when they can.

I was in the area for work, and the people who own the hotel were great to me. The rooms are clean, and they’re always ready to help. One of the best hotels around here.

There were roaches in both rooms I was given. I first spoke to the owner about the $65 regular room and asked to upgrade, thinking the $85 room might be better. They moved me, but that room had roaches too. When I raised the issue again, they argued with me about complaining and told me I could leave. The owner was very rude, and had been rude since I booked. I was also told I could no longer book there because I complained. I said I could have written a bad review but came to them first. The first photo is the $65 room and the second is the $85 room. I would not recommend this hotel at all. They seem to want customers to keep quiet and put up with the problem instead of fixing it.
