This was our first B&B, and it was a perfect mix of personal attention and private amenities. Fordham House feels traditional and charming, but still warm and relaxed. Sarah made amazing breakfasts, including gluten-free options, and shared great tips about places to visit.

My fiancee and I have gone every summer for the past five years, and we’ll probably keep coming back. It’s a beautiful house run by a wonderful family. Sarah is always there if you need anything or want advice on great places to visit across practically all of long Island. Her breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented. 10 out of 5 stars.

Breakfast was amazing, and Helena, the owner, had paid attention to every detail, from the beautiful bedding to the small china cups and silverware on the breakfast table. Fordham House has a distinctly masculine feel, especially in the lounge and living room, rather than the more feminine style many B&Bs tend to have. It wasn’t too 'froo froo'. We visited in the second week of September 2012. The older house was in perfect condition, absolutely stunning, with chic furnishings that were very "Ralph Lauren/Potery Barn".

The spacious backyard has porch swings and lawn chairs, and the food is prepared with care and effort. Fordham House is a charming place to stay in Greenport, with character in both the bedrooms and the house. Restaurants, Front St, and the Harbor are only a short walk away.
