The thoughtful little touches made our anniversary weekend feel special: umbrellas were by the door when it rained and put away once the sun came back, fresh coffee was ready each morning, and we left with delicious cookies as a gift. The flowers waiting in our room and the comfortable bedding were lovely too. The house and grounds at The Inn at Orient were immaculate and beautifully renovated. We enjoyed visiting the state park, beaches, and village of Greenport, as well as sipping wine at local wineries. We hope to return.

The room had fresh flowers, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the early coffee was delicious. We even left with homemade cookies and gift cards for a local breakfast spot. It was a spontaneous mother-daughter trip to the north folk, and we were completely taken with this welcoming, beautifully furnished, impeccably clean Inn. We’d absolutely come back to orient just for it.

We can’t wait to visit again. This was our second long weekend at the Orient Inn, and it was cozy and restful, with wonderful breakfasts. Joan and Howard, the owners, were charming and knew so much about the beautiful North Shore of Long Island.

This newly renovated Inn was such a great stay. The host was wonderful, and the place was spotless and beautiful. It’s in a fabulous spot for enjoying all the North Forks charm. I’d definitely recommend it!

Joan and Howie made us feel like part of the family at their bed and breakfast. We had a fantastic time, and I appreciated that they use eco friendly products in the bathroom.
