Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Reno - Sparks

We were only passing through and needed somewhere clean to sleep, so we didn’t explore the area. The location is nice, and the rooms are spacious, clean, friendly, and pet-friendly. There’s a full refrigerator, a kitchen area with an electric stovetop, and a microwave. The grab-and-go breakfast caught us off guard. It was individually wrapped muffins, granola bars, and yogurt, so it would help if the website said what kind of breakfast to expect. It was nice to have something, but knowing ahead of time would’ve helped us plan. My child has severe allergies to all nuts, and everything provided contained nuts or was made on shared lines. 😕

I liked the clean hotel, convenient location near shopping, restaurants, and casinos, and the friendly, efficient front desk. There’s also a small laundry and gym area. The only bad part of my stay this past weekend was the guest in 313, who was extremely loud and obnoxious and clearly didn’t care about disturbing anyone. I think the hotel should’ve tried to sort it out, but I didn’t see any action. Otherwise, it’s an excellent hotel, and I’ll definitely book here again when I’m in town.

The rooms are nice, but the service was awful from the start, especially with the front desk ladies. I stayed for 3 nights and cancelled my other 2, then moved because of the poor service. There was no breakfast and NO COFFEE!!!! I shouldn’t have had to ask the front desk for coffee, and when I did, they gave me the attitude of an 8-year-old, with no education or professionalism. Customer service was just bad. I asked for housekeeping every day when I checked in, and again that same morning during the coffee situation, but nothing was done. Same trash bags, towels, and sheets for 3 nights. When I asked the front desk lady what happened, she said they’d do it tomorrow. Then when I requested fresh towels, she told me to go get them myself at the front desk. I’m very disappointed and would like to speak with someone higher up, because the hotel is nice but the customer service is the worst ever!!!!!

We keep coming back for the dog policy and the location. The rooms are really clean, there’s a small breakfast in the morning, and plenty of parking close to other restaurants.
