Oxford Suites Spokane Valley

The room was quiet and spacious, and check-in was friendly and quick. We had a pleasant night at this pet-friendly hotel, right by the river and near the mall, shops, and restaurants. The evening social was underwhelming. It was nice to have free beer, wine, or well drinks at the bar, though the salad was pretty sad. Breakfast was fine, with plenty of the usual hot hotel options.

I can’t remember the last time I stayed somewhere this clean. The hotel was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast is included each day, with eggs, sausage, waffles, and more. They also offer soup and salad with a complimentary cocktail, wine, or beer. It’s in a handy location for food and shopping, and the management is top notch. Highly recommend!

Nas gave us the best check-in I’ve had at any hotel. He was genuinely kind and caring, explained everything, and made sure we were all set. He asked what we were interested in, then drew a map showing the appetizers, drinks, hot cocoa, and route from our room to the spa. Since I’d hurt my back, he moved us to a room right by the elevator so I wouldn’t have to walk far. The other staff were great too. At 10pm, a little girl started crying when the hot cocoa ran out, and two employees jumped up to help her. The room was a comfortable size and a nice place to spend time. The hotel was clean and well cared for, with good parking, a safe area, and lots of restaurants nearby. We travel 5-6 times a year, and this will be our first choice in Spokane/Spokane Valley from now on.

The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were good. We were tempted by the free cocktail coupons, but they wouldn’t serve any lower-shelf vodka or gin. After we asked twice, the waitress still didn’t come back, and we got no other drinks. We’d been looking forward to 3-4 drinks each, better ones, and dinner, but she didn’t help us. We waited so long for lounge service that we had to order DoorDash. DoorDash was awesome.
