Oxford Suites Downtown Spokane

We could walk along the river path and cross the pedestrian bridge to a great park, though the playground was unfortunately closed. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we spoke with them, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. At check-in, we all got a free drink, even our kid, who got juice. The king room with sleeper sofa was bigger than I expected. Honestly, one of my best hotel experiences!

For my quick one-night work trip to Spokane, the rooms at Oxford were clean, the beds were comfy, and everything was close by. Dea made the whole process a dream: check-in was easy, and she was super friendly, just a gem. There's a lovely trail right next to the hotel, too. 10/10, I'd recommend it and definitely come back.

The hot tub and heated pool were a great bonus, and the spacious rooms, phenomenal complimentary breakfast, riverfront location, and walkability to everything we wanted to see all lived up to the high reviews. The employees were patient with my questions, as well as helpful and friendly. If I come back to Spokane, this will be where I stay. My son and I came for an event at the local arena, and chose this hotel for its reviews, location, and airport shuttle. The website said little about the shuttle beyond offering one. When I called for a pickup, I learned there was a $20 fee. I later found out the charge had only started a week or two before we arrived. It was no big deal when we were at the airport needing a ride, but a heads-up would've helped since I travel on a tight budget. The ride back was another $20. That wasn't enough to change my mind about our wonderful stay.

The staff we met were great and very helpful. We liked the large room and comfortable beds, and the pool and hot tub were nice. Still, the bathroom could've been cleaned better, and the chlorine was so strong it burned our skin. The sauna wouldn't heat up, and the steam room was steamy but not warm. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, and a few more options would be nice. We'd stay again because the positives outweighed the negatives.
