We found a good deal through a third-party website. The room was quite large for the price and well furnished, with a microwave, freeze, and the other facilities. Breakfast was included, with a good variety of tasty items. Parking cost $10 per night.

The bed was the only comfortable part of the stay. I booked a whirlpool room so I could relax while pregnant, but it didn’t work. There was no hot water in the shower, and the ice machines on the floor weren’t working either. Staff kept leaving the desk to sit in the back, and without a manager or maintenance person on site over the weekend, the other workers could barely help. I wouldn’t book here again.

My wife and I came for a little anniversary getaway, and the room I paid over $100 for was the one thing she wanted. I’d booked this hotel specifically for an in-room jacuzzi suite, called to confirm they had the rooms, and got a text saying the booking was successful. Two days later, we arrived to find a standard two-bed room, nothing like what I’d paid for. I could have gotten that room elsewhere for half the cost. The front desk woman was very sweet and tried to help, but couldn’t get the room I’d requested even after I showed my receipt. She could only offer a king bed as an “upgrade,” though that was what I’d paid for. It was non-refundable, so I felt stuck. The whole thing was embarrassing and made me look like a fool. They say in replies to reviews that they’ll make improvements. I read those comments this morning, and from what I saw and dealt with, not a single improvement has been made. Holiday Inn probably won’t see my money again. Treat your guests better. We’re the reason you’re in business! They also charged another $15 for parking at the desk after I booked. The bathtub wasn’t cleaned properly, the elevators barely worked, and all you could hear was traffic. Save yourself and your loved ones the headache and embarrassment.

The staff were kind when we stayed with my parents for a family member’s funeral, and they let us check in 30 minutes early. The cleanliness needs work, though. There were live and dead bugs, including a baby roach scurrying in the bathroom. There were gaps by the floor and tub and in the grout, and we also saw a dead wasp on a hallway windowsill while waiting for an elevator. The elevator “Up” button didn’t work, although “Down” did, which was a workaround until we found that the only elevator button on the 1st floor was broken too. We had to use the stairwell. The ice machine was out on every floor except the first.
