Hampton Inn Spring Hill

I’m a member, but I’ll be cancelling after this. I booked three nights in August, then all my flights from Boston were cancelled just a few hours before I was due to leave for the airport. The hotel said I hadn’t called in time to get a refund. I bought Allianz travel insurance, which has been a joke. I’ve called the hotel several times asking for a manager, but they keep saying the manager is in meetings for weeks and can’t be reached. No one at Allianz seems to understand what I’m saying either. It’s maddening, and it feels like no one can understand anything at the hotel or insurance company. I guess they need my money. They’re crooks and fraud.

I got maybe two hours of sleep for $200, after a 15-hour cabinet install left me exhausted and with another job the next morning. The HVAC rattled all night, the walls were paper thin, and the person next door had their TV turned all the way up. I called the manager the next day, and she was extremely rude and tried to make it sound like I’d done something besides spend $200 at midnight on a nightmare. Her name was Kenya King. I won’t stay there again. A family member of mine has worked for the higher end Hilton for 35 years and is looking into this for me. Just a bad experience all around.

The location is fantastic, easy to get around from, and close to anything you might need. Lots of places are even within walking distance. The hotel areas and grounds are kept beautiful and in great shape, and the staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful.

There are at least ten restaurants within five miles, and an AMC movie theater down the street. The place is wonderful, my room is quite nice, and the shower is great.
