Homewood Suites by Hilton Reading

Constantina, Kenia, and Maria were amazing. They went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, and paid close attention to all the guests. Every staff member was warm and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was great and very quiet. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. I highly recommend staying here.

The check-in attendant was very kind and did her best, but she seemed overwhelmed. The line ran all the way to the front door, and there should have been more people at the desk. Even though it was past 4 p.m., we were first told our room wasn’t ready. She made some adjustments and got us into a room without much more waiting. There were some good points, but with the property in its current condition I wouldn’t recommend it. The TV system was unplugged at the back, so we had to reconnect it ourselves. The room also had several maintenance issues: a broken toilet paper holder, a leaking sink, and missing items. We were only there for one night and leaving at 3 a.m., so there wasn’t much point in having everything fixed then. We did let someone know afterward. The place has potential, but it needs more investment in its upkeep and the guest experience before I’d recommend it. For now, I’d look at other options in the area.

The room at Homewood Suites was spacious and clean, and the service was top notch. We had an excellent stay and would definitely come back. Thanks for the great customer service!

The staff were nice, and the location was great. Cleanliness was my main concern. It was clean enough, but there were definitely spots that hadn’t been cleaned very well. For a Hilton, I expected a lot better.
