Hampton Inn & Suites North Houston Spring

Breakfast was delicious, and Mrs Magdalena at the front desk made our stay feel like home. She’s the best. We’ll definitely go back!

The shower was the best part of the room: large, with wonderful water pressure. Our room was a nice size and very clean. The bed was quite firm, and my husband thought so too. Breakfast was good for the most part. Check in and check out were both quick and easy, and I love that you can stay until noon. Though the hotel is close to the freeway, it wasn’t noisy at all. The room felt a little warm at first, but we adjusted the air and it cooled down.

The room was very clean, which matters a lot to me, and we had a great one night stay at Hampton Inn North Houston Spring. We didn’t hear any elevator noise, though maybe that was because it was a quiet Tuesday. We left before breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. In the app I could choose a room, but every option at my booked price was near the elevator. To get away from it, I’d have had to pay more for the same room type, just based on location. That felt a bit like a bait and switch, and cost this hotel a star. I’d stay again, but wish more rooms were available at the price I booked.

The room was okay, but it had a slightly muggy smell, especially noticeable after walking through the bright, clean, fresh smelling hallway. Housekeeping staff were consistently polite and kind, and breakfast was good. I heard the pool and gym were nice, but didn’t get to try them. I stayed one night and found the experience average. With the hotel’s high ratings, I expected a warmer, more attentive welcome at the front desk. They weren’t rude, just not especially welcoming or focused on service. A couple of times, including checkout, nobody was at the desk, so I had to go to the back to get someone’s attention. They responded when I did, but it didn’t feel very guest focused.
