Scottish Inns and Suites Spring, TX

They were incredibly patient and accommodating when we had trouble with our card, and I plan to extend my stay here and recommend it to anyone who asks. It's an affordable place with clean rooms and a helpful housekeeper. Our spacious room had a comfortable bed, a sofa, coffee table, desk, and small closet, plus a microwave, coffee pot, mini fridge, iron, and ironing board. The coffee was delicious, and the shampoo and body lotion smelled amazing. We had hot water for relaxing showers and cable with a decent number of channels that never went out. The vending machine wasn't working, but the lobby offered a variety of soft drinks and snacks.

I was there for my daughter's junior Olympic event after my reservation at Days Inn was switched to the Scottish hotel. The first room smelled and had roaches, so I changed rooms. In the second, the curtain smelled like pee and cigarette smoke, and the sheets had burn marks. I moved a third time, but those sheets also had burn marks, there was tissue on the smoke detector, and gum on the ceiling.

In the early morning, an altercation outside our room woke me up and left me worried for my safety and my friends' safety. After it ended, a vehicle pulled up with music so loud the walls rattled. The room itself was rough: lots of broken or damaged things, graffiti on the decor, and it didn't look clean. The photos online didn't show what the rooms were really like, and the staff at both check-in and check-out weren't friendly.

The rooms are clean for a good price, and the ladies who clean them are very sweet. The woman working during the day wasn't helpful when we realized we'd booked the wrong dates, even though we'd paid for five days. She told me I had 15 mins to fix it or leave. I ended up paying for one night twice, first $53 online and then $72 when I had to pay again. She could've been more understanding and helped sort it out.
