We went through three rooms. The first had a hole in the outside wall where the heater was supposed to be, the second heater didn’t work, and we finally stayed in the third because we were exhausted. The hotel felt old and dirty, though the bed was fine. Breakfast was nothing like the other quality inns we’ve stayed at, so we left to eat somewhere else.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean too, though dated. Beyond that, the place needs attention. We stayed four nights without seeing housekeeping, and after check-in we didn’t see staff or anyone at the desk. None of the hotel’s security entrance doors were locked, which made me very uneasy traveling alone. Breakfast was extremely dirty and limited to toast, waffles, juice, and cereal; even the coffee cup was full of grounds at the bottom. The decor was worn, the desk chair was torn, the pool area was dirty, and there were no pool towels. With some updates, better cleaning, and someone present at the front desk, I might stay again.

The beds were clean and really comfortable, but that was about the only good part. There’s a strong smell throughout the hotel, and things are broken or stained. The so-called breakfast is just snacks to hold you over until you can get to a restaurant. The coffee tastes like weak tea unless you use the Keurig in your room. I’d stay at the Hilton across the road instead of bothering with this cheap Quality Inn.

The location works well for travelers, but maintenance lets the hotel down. Rooms are okay, though there’s an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was a real disappointment: just cereal and milk, waffles, and apples. The ice machine doesn’t work, and the water fountain sprays water so far it could put a super soaker to shame. In the end, you get what you pay for.

Breakfast was barely an option: bread with no toaster, cereal with no milk, and the juice machine only gave water. The building smelled like wet dog, and the hallway was disgusting, with a box fan left to dry the soaked carpet. A wet floor sign sat by the leaking ice maker, but the water stayed there the whole time I was around. My room had carpet stains and that same damp, moldy smell, plus odd black marks on the toilet seat. I had to slam the door hard to shut it, and the side entrance couldn’t be used because someone had ripped the electrical parts out of the wall. I’ll never stay there again or at any Quality Inn.
