Hyatt Place Springdale/Zion National Park

The view was spectacular, breakfast was good, and the staff were great. We stayed four nights in early April, when Spring Break made the hotel busy, but it was fun seeing the kids enjoy themselves. Our one-bedroom suite had a major downside: the bed backed onto the elevator shaft, and the elevator kept dinging late into the night. If I booked again, I'd look into the advertised two-bedroom family room, check where it sits in the building, and find out whether there's a door separating the sleeping areas.

The people here made the hotel feel like home. Chasity welcomed me at check-in with a warm, light-hearted manner and went out of her way to find quarters for the laundry when I had no cash. After days of hiking, we were out of clean clothes, so that really helped. In the morning, Jen was in charge of breakfast, greeting everyone with a smile and keeping the food fresh and filled. Sheryl and the rest of the cleaning crew kept the bathrooms and hallways spotless. The Hyatt Place in Springdale has a distinctive setting at the foot of the red rock mountains, and the atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. The hotel design and everyone's kindness and attention to detail made my stay exceptional. Highly recommend it!

We loved our stay so much that we extended it, went to Bryce Canyon, then booked another night on the way back to St. George. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, and we had breathtaking views of the Watchmen from our room. Every staff member, including the GM, was extraordinary. The hotel remodel looks stunning and blends taste with excellence. Kelsey, and I think Beth as well, were amazing. Hot drinks were available 24 seven, and ice and water machines were conveniently placed throughout the hotel. I'd only suggest improving the breakfast menu a bit. We can't wait to come back!

The location was so convenient, the rooms really clean, and the views from both the bedroom and dining room were amazing. The hotel exceeded our expectations. I wish the swimming pool had been heated and operational, and the same goes for the hot tub. The bathroom door was hard to lock, but that wasn't a big deal. It's almost too nice to review and risk drawing more people here and pushing the price up!
