SpringHill Suites is right in Springdale, within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants, and you can walk, drive, or take the shuttle to Zion during peak season. We stayed for two nights in mid-January, the area's off-season, and it was very peaceful and quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was free, good, and had plenty of choices. The lobby view is beautiful, but sitting by the outdoor fireplace to watch the sunset was even better. Highly recommend!

The included breakfast was good, and they had gluten-free muffins and bread if you asked. The hotel is near the park and all the local restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed staying at SpringHill Suites in Springdale Zion. I think we got the room with the best view. Sitting on the patio morning and evening to take it in was my favorite part.

After spending time in town, I heard this hotel is known for constant overbooking and bad management that screws customers over. That's what happened to us, so I highly recommend avoiding it. We arrived at SpringHill Suites in Springdale, Utah expecting to check in with a confirmed reservation, but were told it had been canceled because the card on file was supposedly invalid and they didn't have our phone number. The card was valid. The hotel said it sent one email the evening before we arrived, while we were traveling in Las Vegas. We didn't see it before reaching Springdale, and by then they'd canceled the booking. That wasn't a reasonable way to handle it. If there was an issue with payment or missing contact information, they should have dealt with it well before arrival, not at the last minute after confirming the reservation. One email sent while a guest is already traveling, and an apparent processing error, shouldn't make a valid reservation disappear. In Springdale, it's not always possible to find an affordable room at the last minute. Their reservation checks and communication need serious improvement.

I didn't arrive with high expectations, but this place surprised me. It's very new and modern, and everything was spotless. The room was quiet and comfortable, so we slept well after hiking. Being close to Zion National Park was a big plus, and taking the shuttle there made the trip much easier. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Zion!

There are no balconies on the main rooms. The patio firepit is open to everyone and gives the place a really nice feel. Our room had a great view, the hotel was clean and very nice, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was included, and despite the busy crowd, it was pretty good.
