Baymont by Wyndham Springfield I-44

Breakfast was a letdown: the powdered eggs were runny, the fried potatoes were still cold in the middle, and the monitor in the breakfast room was harsh and loud. I’d never before been asked to hand over my room key to eat breakfast, despite staying in hotels across the country. After a long day of driving, I arrived late and found a strong marijuana smell throughout the second-floor hallway. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were tiny throw pillows, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles mounted in the shower were empty. Never again.

After driving for 13 hours, I had to change rooms, but the attendant working that night made it easy and helped me get through the evening. I have high anxiety and was traveling with my two dogs, so her help meant a lot. I slept perfectly. Thanks again!

We had a room issue, and the staff handled it graciously. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was nice, and its seating area was clean and comfortable. Our beds were comfortable too. It worked out well for my family on our road trip, though we could easily hear the people walking around above us.

The staff made our stay shine. The front desk was always helpful, and on a busy Sunday morning the breakfast attendant dealt with one mess and spill after another while staying cheerful. She set a great tone for the guests. The manager should give her a raise! We stayed one night over a busy Thanksgiving weekend. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was perfect. Great spot right off I-44.
