Staying in Springfield just outside DC worked well for our visit with my wife and daughter. We could get in and out of the city without dealing with all the chaos. The staff were professional and welcoming, and Arzaan checked us in and made sure we'd covered everything. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. A solid choice for a family trip, and we'd stay again.

Our two large huskies got greeted by the front desk crew every time we walked past, and they always said hello. The hosts welcomed us too, and check-in was easy. We were there one night with the pet getaway package. The room was clean with plenty of hot water, and breakfast had lots of food and coffee. Right off the highway, with plenty of restaurants an easy walk away. We appreciate how welcoming they are to large dogs and would return without hesitation.

The staff kept checking that we had what we needed, and the location was handy, with a couple of stores nearby and quick access to the highway. The room walls are thin, but I still had a great stay and would come back.

Check-in was smooth, everything was clean, and the facilities and full breakfast were good. The restaurants and Metro were convenient too. Our only issue was that coffee and towels weren't replenished in the room for our last night, Saturday. It wasn't a big deal since the breakfast room always had great coffee. We'll definitely stay here again when we're in the DC area.

We make a few trips every year, and Holiday Inn Express is usually our pick when we need a place to sleep overnight. The rooms have been consistently clean and comfortable, and we always enjoy the breakfast before starting the day. When we're in the Washington, DC area, the Springfield, VA Holiday Inn Express is the one we like best.
