I don’t usually post reviews, especially for a last-minute stay at the low end. The place looked bad, as I expected, but there were no bed bugs in my room. The vending machine was out, so I bought a drink at the office. The Coke they handed me sprayed from the side of the can. They said I still had to pay because Walmart would make me pay too. 😆 After about ten minutes of arguing, I didn’t pay for it and got them to replace it.

The motel is old, so it’s not the best, but it keeps you out of the cold. The family is honest and hardworking, and they’ll help if you ask.

The bathroom was the worst part: bugs crawled around in the shower, and the toilet was nasty. The room was dirty too, and there was hair on the sheets.

We’d been staying there nearly three months without problems, and it had been quiet and good at first. One day we were short $20. The owner agreed we could pay the next morning when the bank opened. My husband went to get what we owed for that day plus enough for a week, but he was a few minutes past 11. The owner came to my room and told me to leave without my things and hand over the key until my husband returned. It was 90 degrees, and I have health issues that make it hard to stay in the heat for long. When my husband came back with the money, the owner refused to take it and told us to get our things and leave the property. I hate being told a little delay is okay, then being kicked out with nowhere to go. The owner also adds a $20 late fee, with the amount depending on how long it takes to pay. This place is a joke, and I don’t recommend staying there.
