The staff were friendly, and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I had a great stay. The beds are comfortable, though the bath towels are too small.

I was in a lot of pain with a bad headache and body aches, and couldn't even get to Walgreens. Around 2 a.m. I called the front desk for help. The staff member hesitated to give me Tylenol at first, which I understand, but once I explained how I felt and he saw how unwell I was, he kindly gave me two tablets. I felt a lot better soon after. He was incredibly polite and seemed honest from the way he spoke. His kindness meant a lot in that moment. The room was super clean and well maintained, and I could tell they cared about hygiene. I had a great stay, especially that night, and would absolutely come back. Thank you for the care and service.

I booked three days but couldn't stay because of the room's condition. Thank goodness a DG was nearby, so I could buy a blanket, pillow, cleaning supplies, and towels. Guests shouldn't have to do that when paying $84 a night. The main reason I left early was that the room smelled of cigarette smoke, though I'm a non-smoker, and the bed smelled of urine. The comforter, sheets, and pillows were heavily stained, as if they hadn't been washed. Neither the mattress nor pillows had protective covers, and I started vomiting and felt physically ill. The bathroom was in disrepair, with grime and mildew, and the stained, poor-quality towels looked like cleaning rags handed to guests. There was peeling paint, big stains on the rug, cracked fixtures, an outdated microwave, and Wi-Fi that worked when it felt like it. Springfield may be a small place, but that doesn't mean the quality should be nonexistent.

It's a bit of a hole in the wall, honestly. I didn't spot any bugs, and the bed was okay to sleep in, lol. I'd give it a 3. Only recommend it if you can't find anything else that works for you. 🦈💙
