Most of our day was lost to this problem, and we left very disappointed with how it was handled. During normal use, our room's entry door came off its hinges and couldn't be secured. For hours I couldn't safely leave the room unattended or feel comfortable using it while we waited for maintenance and another room. Maintenance eventually confirmed the door couldn't be fixed quickly and that we needed to move, but getting relocated took several more hours. Once the new room was ready, we moved our own belongings with a grocery cart. I know maintenance problems can happen, and I appreciate the staff who eventually helped us. Still, management's response lacked the urgency the situation called for. Being unable to secure a hotel room for hours isn't a minor inconvenience.

There is a basic level of service hotels should provide, and this place doesn't meet it. The service was atrocious. The managers were unprofessional and uncouth, and were especially hostile toward women. Hospitality is part of the job. People who behave this way shouldn't be running a gas station, let alone a hotel. Even if you're running a dump, you should at least treat people respectfully.

Don't stay here. My mom and I were there for three months. At first it was relatively cheap and in a good location, but later the prices kept going up and they didn't tell us until we called. Staff gave us the runaround, with one person saying one thing and another saying something different. They couldn't keep their story straight, and they were rude and nasty to us. The rooms were filled with mold. My mom has COPD, so they moved us to another room, but things in that room were broken and there was mold there too. These people don't care about your health or safety. They overcharge you and pocket your money. Don't trust the good reviews. You don't want to stay there at all.

We had to stay two nights because everything was booked for boot camp graduation, and we dreaded coming back each day. The nicest thing was the small store in the lobby, full of hundreds of dollars' worth of overpriced items. I wouldn't recommend this place for any reason. It isn't worth even $20 a night. The lobby and hallways were extremely hot in 90-degree weather, with no air conditioning. There was no continental breakfast, only coffee from 6 to 9 a.m., and no pool because it had been cemented over. Curtains were patched with tape instead of sewn. Roaches were everywhere, and the sheets, pillowcases, washcloths, and even the shower curtain had brown stains. When we asked for replacements, staff argued that everything was clean and refused to bring the items up, insisting we carry them all to the desk to exchange them. Customer service was horrible. The elevator said it held two people. When I rode it with three small children, it shuddered and squealed like something from a horror movie, so we used the stairs after that. Everything advertised was untrue.
