The one thing to keep in mind is that in room 3, a gate at the school next door opens and closes often, making noise starting around 7 a.m. We managed to deal with it, though. Otherwise, this was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was so plentiful and delicious that we skipped lunch a few days. When we needed extra towels, the hostess was quick to help and very nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. I'd definitely return when visiting St. Augustine.

Room #8 was the penthouse and the only room on that floor. We loved watching the woodpeckers in the trees, and the stone tub and cute, bougie decor made the room a favorite. Everything in downtown St Augustine is close by, and the stay was relaxing and really nice. I'd recommend it for an adult weekend away. Breakfast was phenomenal. The chef prepared food to order just how you like it, and did a great job. There was a nice variety to choose from while she cooked, along with a great selection of drinks.

The food was amazing, and the stay itself was quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed it.

The house was beautiful, and we loved the staff, breakfast, and walkable location downtown. Free parking was great, and sitting with drinks on the front porch balcony was lovely. Our booking may have been for room 3, though we're not completely sure. If you do get room 3, the bathroom is down the hall, not in the room, which is a hassle. The room could really use more light, either brighter lamps or overhead lighting. Even with the lights on, it was very dark at night and early in the morning. My wife needed to use our phone lights to do her makeup. Otherwise, we'd recommend it.

We got a room upstairs with an ensuite bathroom, and breakfast in the morning was great. The host was really nice, too. It was easy to book with very little notice, but if you're looking for a good place to stay, I'd advise booking earlier. Downtown is a very short walk away, and the price was very affordable. We had a great stay!
