Fairfield Inn St George

The breakfast was phenomenal, and the woman serving it was super nice. My room was very clean, and I really liked the internet TV. Mark at the front desk was the politest clerk I've ever seen, and he was helpful and professional when I checked in. The general manager has trained the team really well. Everyone, from the check-in clerk to the night auditor and breakfast server, was professional. You don't even get this kind of treatment at five-star hotels. I'll definitely come back.

After an insanely long workday, I arrived at Fairfield in around 11 p.m., exhausted and ready to sleep. Mark was easy and fun to talk to, personable without being annoying, and none of it felt forced. He seemed tired too, but still did his job almost perfectly. I don't know what he's paid, but he deserves a raise. If every Marriott employee were even half as good as Mark, they'd have ten times as many customers. I haven't really reviewed Marriott before, but he deserves the credit and recognition.

We stay here twice a year while traveling between Edmonton, Alberta and Palm Desert, California. Its location just off I-15 works well for us, and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and Utah Chop across the street is a handy bonus for dinner.

I liked being near the running trails, and the building was nice, the room clean, and the staff welcoming and helpful. My room faced the freeway, so I could hear traffic. It didn't bother me, but light sleepers should ask for a room on the opposite side.
