Room 135 needs maintenance. The doorjambs were filthy, and paint was chipped, cracked, or peeling in several places. There were dried, disgusting-looking blobs on the wall art that I don't even want to think about. Some previous repairs looked like questionable shortcuts. We also found a strange ball of stuff between the sheets, maybe a tissue that went through the wash or compressed lint. The beds were just passable, not especially comfortable, and there was no coffee maker. A real case of getting what you pay for.

I liked seeing the owner's flower garden while walking my dog, and in the morning I even saw her feed what looked like 50-80 birds. The owners were very friendly, and the place was quiet and peaceful for my one-night stay. My room was clean, with no pest issues apart from one spider. There's a choice of smoking or non-smoking rooms. Checkout is at 11 am, and breakfast isn't included.

The location was really convenient, with a gas station and several fast food spots nearby. There's even a laundromat less than a block away. We loved our room, too.

The gentleman at the front desk was really nice this evening. My room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioner worked amazingly well. It also had a brand new refrigerator and microwave. Nice place, and the price is just right.
