Heritage Meadows Farm B & B

Breakfast was a lovely chance to chat with Judy and Steve like family. Judy served a full country breakfast each morning, and we especially liked the homemade plum jam. She also has a great sense of humor and cooks different, delicious breakfasts each day. The jam is made from fruit grown at their place or on nearby farms, with a distinctive, sweet flavor. They spoke slowly because our English isn't very fluent, and took time to explain the farm and the area, including what they knew about their Amish neighbors. Steve is kind and knowledgeable. He showed us around the farm, and getting close to his intelligent horse "Mike" and trying to talk with him was amazing. We also saw how happy Steve is when he talks about his horses and the other pets they've adopted. Heritage Meadows Farm B&B is full of history, and the hosts are happy to tell you about the furnishings and the farm. The historic house dates to 1855 and has lots of beautiful art and decorations, along with the household items you need. Our Nellis Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with garden and field views. The bathroom was spacious and neat. The house has a beautiful garden, horses, a cute dog, and cats, and the countryside has a stream nearby. We felt at home, and the place seemed a few steps above a hotel. We were honored to be the first Chinese guests, and enjoyed this farm stay for two days. We couldn't stay longer because our time was tight, but hope to visit Judith and Stephen again next year and spend more time with our kind new friends.

Judy and Steve make you feel like family, and we really hated having to leave. We’ve stayed in plenty of B&Bs over the years, but Heritage Meadows is the best one we've found. The rooms and other accommodations are wonderful, and Judy's cooking is amazing. If you're going to Cooperstown, stay here. I could've moved in and never left.

From September 6th through September 19th, 2014, every day and night earned five stars from me. It was a beautiful, relaxing stay on a charming farm, and I found a sense of paradise there. I made a new friendship I won't forget and hope to return each year. The hosts feel like loving caretakers, and I gladly recommend this B&B to everyone. This was my first bed and breakfast, and Judi and Steve welcomed me as if I were part of their family. Their home feels warm and full of affection for each other and their guests. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated with care. The house's accessories are thoughtfully displayed and available for guests to use. The rooms look like something from a magazine or storybook. Soft towels, washcloths, and bathrobes add to the homely welcome, while lace-trimmed sheets and pillowcases and a beautiful quilt made for a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfasts were fantastic. Judi served a fresh assortment of homemade breads, jellies, jams, and preserves each day. They were clearly made with love and care, and her pride in everything she does shows in the results. Judi and Steve greet you with a genuine feeling that they're glad you've come.

Judy's hospitality is out of this world, and her home cooking is the best. My husband and I had the most relaxing stay, with the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. It's the best B&B we've ever stayed at, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.
