Grand Center Inn

We left the car parked in front of the Grand Center Inn and walked to Triumph Grill, on to the Sheldon Concert Hall, and back, in less than 30 minutes total. There's free street parking right outside, and the location is handy for the theaters, restaurants, and museums in Grand Center. The host was friendly and informative, our room was clean and lovely, and breakfast was delicious. This Bed and Breakfast was delightful. Maybe some work was done since the older reviews, because I can't see why anyone would rate it under five stars.

I came to St.Louis with my son for the Blues game on June 1st. We try to see at least one game each year, sometimes two, and I usually book a downtown hotel with crowded halls and complicated parking. I'm so glad I tried this B+B instead. The place was gorgeous inside and out from the moment I walked up the front stairs. Francesco, one of the caretakers, greeted us warmly. My son and I were impressed, and the excellent breakfast was brought to our room. I did feel bad for Francesco carrying it up all 44 stairs on a silver platter. He was completely winded, which made me laugh a little, but I felt terrible for him too. He was great, and we can't wait to come back when we next visit the Blues. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Eric was very accommodating, and we had a comfortable room and a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful, historic, and well maintained. We'll definitely be back.

Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, and both the food and service were spectacular. The room was clean, well designed, and had a classic feel. On arrival, a staff member gave us keys, explained the house rules, and suggested things to do nearby. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout. The inn is within walking distance of the Fox Theatre and several restaurants. I'd gladly return and recommend it to friends.
