Blind Pass Resort Motel

It’s not a big brand hotel, but we felt very comfortable here, and liked it better than a chain hotel or an AirB&B. We stayed in the no pet's suite, which was surprisingly clean and felt like a one-bedroom apartment. There were cooking utensils, a mid-size fridge, and a living room, with TVs in both rooms. Customer service was outstanding. There’s no continental breakfast, but the office fridge had coffee, soda, and water. I think they could work a little on the honor system. If we’re in the Petersburg area again, we’ll most likely stay here.

The staff were amazing, the rooms spotless, and the pool was just the right temperature. They came to our rescue when a nearby hotel wouldn’t take our dog because she weighed over 40 lbs. Not a single complaint. There’s a cute pizza place right next door, with delicious pizza and a little bar where you can have a drink while waiting for a pickup order. Fresh hot coffee in the mornings and smart TVs, too. It’s great whether you’re here for one night or a week or month.

The place was quiet and cozy, the room was clean, and the pool area was tidy. It was dog friendly, too. We arrived early with our puppy, and the lady kindly let us check in ahead of time, so we could get into our room instead of finding somewhere to wait. I’d recommend staying here.

Even if I’m only 45 minutes from home, I love a little getaway here and will keep choosing it when I’m in the area. The rooms are clean, and the sheets and bedding smell like fresh laundry. They’re stocked with fresh pool towels, extra bedding, and essentials, and the pool area is always tidy. It’s always a nice stay.
