Fairview Inn and Suites

I left immediately and asked for my money back, but they refused, so I ended up sleeping in my car at the next rest area. I’m calling the health department. I wouldn’t stay here, and if zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give it. The room was disgusting: hair in the sheets, what looked like dried bodily fluids and blood on blankets that had been turned over, moldy pillows and sheets, and roaches everywhere. The AC unit also had mold growing on it, and the floors were sticky. When I asked for a refund, they offered a “better room,” but it was worse than the first. Look at the pictures I’m posting. I don’t know how this place stays in business. I have nothing good to say.

The bed was good, and the microwave and refrigerator worked. It was quiet and there weren’t many people around, with easy access to I-65 and the surrounding area. If you need a budget place and aren’t picky, this could work. The room lighting was cheap and bad for me. There was no coffee in the room or lobby. I had a “Privacy Please” tag on the door, but room service still knocked two days into my stay while I was getting out of the shower and dressing.

The musty mold smell in the room was awful, and there were lots of stains on the pillows and cigarette burns on the sheets and bed covers. We booked through hotels.com and had to contact customer support and work with the hotel to cancel. There’s no elevator, too. This whole mess cost us two hours and made us miss several planned events. I wouldn’t recommend it.
