Sunrise Resort

Sunrise Resorts had beautiful grounds, with a pool, tennis courts, a pavilion with a BBQ, a fishing dock, and shuffleboard. We also appreciated the four lightweight beach towels in the condo, the washer and dryer, and all the closet space, which let us unpack fully. Our two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo was lovely. Both rooms had comfortable king beds, and each room looked out over the bay with a balcony. Waking up to the summer sun just coming up was beautiful. The kitchen had the important cooking items and was stocked with dish detergent, sponges, Folgers coffee packs, dishwasher pods, paper towels, garbage bags, plastic containers, and other necessities. We were so impressed and will book at Sunrise again.

We stayed in penthouse 3 (PH3), and it comfortably sleeps six. It had a modern beach feel, in-unit laundry, a full kitchen, two living areas, and a large dining table. The resort is on the bay side with great views, and the beach is just steps away. There’s also a large pool and a tennis/pickleball court. My family had a wonderful vacation here, and we can’t wait to return next year.

I’ve visited every year when a good friend comes on vacation with her grandchildren. The resort is well kept, and the pool is gorgeous. The rental condos have spacious open living and dining areas, good-quality beds and dressers, and nicely tiled bathrooms with plenty of room. From the back balcony you can see the Intracoastal Waterway and pool. The beach is across the street, through the Tradewinds parking lot, so be careful crossing busy Gulf Blvd. There are shops, restaurants, and even an ice cream shoppe nearby. Receptionists in the building office are willing to help, and the elevators are clean and work well.

We watched manatees and sting rays from the balcony of Unit 606, which was a lot of fun. The patio was lovely, with comfortable couches, and the kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils. The pool and grilling area were both nice and well kept. Sunrise resort is in a great spot, with bay views out back and the beach across the street. Our one issue was the master bedroom mattress. It was very hard and squeaked whenever we sat down or turned over. We’d recommend replacing it.
