The room was cute, cozy, and very clean, and we loved the heated mirror. We travel for work and don’t need much space, just a bed and a shower, so it suited us perfectly. The view of the snow was beautiful too. If we come through this way again, we’ll absolutely stay here. And a big thank you to the kindest, sweetest lady at the front desk during our Jan 25-26 stay. The snow and ice storm was crazy, and a lot of people couldn’t get to work. You stayed to help travelers like us who were just trying to get home. I know you were by yourself and got woken up all night to assist guests, but you still greeted us in the morning with a beautiful smile and a warm heart. We see and appreciate you so much. Give this lady a raise!

We had our marine son with us, and needed to bring him back to base. We also had our minor child with us. We’d booked a queen suite with a pullout couch for our child, but the hotel gave our room away. Then they wanted to offer us two separate rooms on two different floors for our minor child. Next time you respond to a review, maybe know what you’re talking about. We booked here and found out the manager had given away our room. If you want to be sure you’ll get a room, I wouldn’t book this hotel.

Our son called to say a medical issue meant he couldn’t graduate and would have to retake a test once he was better. We’d booked through Hotels.com and paid extra for trip protection so we could reschedule or cancel if he didn’t graduate. After his call at 6 pm CST, I tried to cancel, but the property never answered when Hotels.com called them. I never expected a place that offers services to military families to charge us without considering our situation. We’re beyond disappointed, and we won’t book here when we attend his graduation.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. There was a good selection of breakfast food too. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.

The beds were fine, the decor was interesting, and the staff were great. Breakfast was what I expected. The whole place felt a little humid, and I live near a lake in SC, so I’m used to that. I picked this hotel for the price and because reviews didn’t mention bugs. I didn’t see any, which was key for me. If you want good value without bugs, this is a great stay.
