The cheerful staff made check-in pleasant, and the host offered a AAA discount that brought the price down to something I can manage. I travel with two dogs, so extra costs really add up. This was a pleasant surprise for budget lodging: clean, safe, comfortable, and reasonably priced.

It was a good stay, with great rooms, and the price was decent. The room was warm because the air conditioner wasn’t working properly, so it didn’t get as cool as I wanted. I hope they fix or update the units in the rooms.

The staff were pleasant and accommodating, but the hotel itself was atrocious. The first thing the desk attendant told me was that the elevator was broken, so we had to take the stairs. I was only on the second floor, luckily, but it still took several trips to carry all my things up. The first room smelled awful, like something had died in there. The replacement room smelled fine, but then I noticed a couple of things that really concerned me. A wall-mounted lamp had been repaired with a couple of wire nuts. Later in the evening I found what I can only call a snail trail on the desk chair. Most adults will know exactly what I mean. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. If I’m back in the area, I’ll never stay there again.

The room was a little older, but still nice and comfortable. It was quiet, though things could have been a bit cleaner.
