Home2 Suites by Hilton Stafford Quantico

An emergency at home meant we needed a last-minute overnight stay, and the kind young man who checked us in made the situation much easier. The room was spacious and neat, so we weren't tripping over each other with our toddler and dog. Breakfast had an incredible range of choices, including something for our picky toddler. We were grateful for such a lovely stay in the middle of a difficult time.

Nothing out of the ordinary for a Home2Suites, with the usual amenities, friendly staff, and quick check-in. Getting around was easy thanks to the I-95 access. The parking lot felt a little tight, though that may have been because of leftover ice from a recent major snowstorm.

We stayed three nights, and the breakfast had enough variety from day to day to keep things interesting. It's one of the better options I've seen if you want more than the basics. The staff, from housekeeping to breakfast, were cheerful and welcoming. Driving into DC was easy. The downside for me was hearing people talking in the hallway.

Clean, reasonably priced, and I really liked the place. A few details looked rushed, like the bathroom wallpaper and the tiles in front of the tub. Still, I'd stay again.
