Scottish Inns & Suites

The air conditioning works great, so the room eventually cooled down and it turned out to be a great place for the night. The area was convenient and the room was really nice. But when we first got in, it was barely bearable, so hot we started sweating right away. I know they’re trying to save on AC, but they should keep it at least at a minimum, or leave it running and turn it off before housekeeping leaves. This is the second place I’ve been to where the room was that hot. It took forever to cool down.

The staff remember us every time we return, and there’s never any hassle if my crew arrives before me or without me. They even went out of their way to get Mexican Sweet bread for the crew to have with coffee. The price is great, the rooms and grounds are very clean, and we feel safe leaving our trucks in the parking lot. My crew and I have stayed here several times.

There were used and unused condoms on top of the dresser, and the sheets had clearly been used before. Housekeeping was lazy and nasty. There’s no way they missed that. They just chose not to clean it.

Safe, clean, and well priced. It’s the only place I stay when visiting the Houston area. There are stores and different places to eat nearby, and it’s easy to get to the major roads.
