The room looked tidy, but there were ants on the nightstand, the carpet was in bad shape, and the walls looked as if someone had fought in the room. Even getting in was a hassle: my key didn't work, and after a second trip to the desk, the employee walked me back and got it working on the third try. She did apologize for the key problem. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. If my company hadn't booked it, I would've asked for a refund. Don't waste your time or hard-earned money.

The room was nice, and restaurants and other places were very convenient. Outside traffic was a bit too loud. The renovation made the stay difficult, though: the lobby was closed off, so we had to use a side entrance without cover. All the parking was full, and in the rain we struggled to load the car. Staff wouldn't help when we asked for a plastic trash bag to keep some of our things dry. I assume the low price was because of the work, but I wouldn't have booked if I'd known about it.

I slept well because the room was comfortable and well furnished. Still, the hotel didn't seem well maintained. The radio was broken, and the message light on the phone kept flashing all night, so I had to cover it up. Staff didn't know how to turn it off. The shower water never got hot, even though the hotel was mostly empty, and the breakfast eggs were barely warm.

I booked a king suite with a jacuzzi but was given an accessible queen room without a tub because, the receptionist said, those rooms were under renovation and that was all they could offer. The staff were rude and customer service was awful. When I asked about the price and other affiliated hotels, they sent me to the Hampton Inn down the road for the night. I had to pay for that room and was promised a call about reimbursement, but no one called. I called the hotel, waited for a manager to get back to me, then called again the next day. Manager seirra said I wouldn't be refunded for the room I hadn't stayed in because I was yelling. I wasn't. I was in tears because I'd paid for two rooms on vacation, over $350 altogether. When I asked for her name and her supervisor's name, she told me to figure it out because Hampton Inn had the same supervisor. That wasn't true, as I was still sitting at the Hampton Inn. Then she hung up. Now I don't know who to contact, and I have to file a BBB complaint over something that could have been handled or avoided. I won't stay here or recommend it to anyone.
