Atlantic Station West

The location is a big plus. The building is right next to the train station, and there’s a gym and great restaurants and bars within walking distance. They also hold resident events, which I’m looking forward to attending to meet neighbors and use the common areas. I moved in about a month ago, and it’s been a great experience so far. The leasing and move-in staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the concierge team is always welcoming when I come and go and helps with package deliveries. The building is well maintained, the appliances are new and work well, and getting set up with internet and the resident apps for rent and utilities was easy. I’m really enjoying living here and feel I made a great choice. Highly recommend!

The location is hard to beat. It’s a five-minute walk to the train and 10 minutes to restaurants and a movie theater. I moved into Atlantic Station West in September 2021, and I’ve been very happy here. My two-bedroom, two-bath apartment looks over the Long Island Sound and south toward New York City. The building is almost brand new, and it’s run well by the management office, front desk, and maintenance crew. They’re extremely nice, as are most of the residents, who tend to keep to themselves. The common areas are excellent: a new gym, a three-season pool that’s indoors in winter and opens wide in summer, gas grills, a bocci court, a fire pit, and lots of outdoor seating. The building is clean, though it could be cleaner. Dogs, scuffed walls, fingerprints, and dust mean it could use more frequent attention. The garage is okay, neither great nor bad. It wasn’t really designed for Ford F150 pick up trucks, and some corners are tight, so you need to park carefully. If you get home after 1am, expect to look for a space at the top of the garage. The package room is tiny and can look like the end of Indiana Jones during the holidays, with packages stacked everywhere. Somehow it works, thanks to the front desk staff doing their best to sort everything into the right places. Those may be nit-picky complaints, but a review should include the downsides. I’d give the place a solid A- or B+. It’s a really nice, well cared for building with nice residents and a great location. Stamford is having a resurgence, and this feels like the right place to be. I’ve lived in worse places, and this isn’t one.

I was always happy with the building, its service, and its personnel under Greystar. Since Bozzuto took over, the level of attention and service has dropped significantly. They’re now completely unresponsive to requests and communication. It’s an utter disappointment.

We’ve been at Atlantic Station West for a month and are loving it. Luke made leasing easy, and everyone at the concierge desk has been great.
