The drinks were fine, and Alex was easy to talk to and candid about the menu. The food and the response to my concerns were another story. My partner and I got the chicken sandwich with truffle honey and brie, but the chicken was leathery and overcooked before we could even judge the toppings. The short rib taco was tender, though it seemed overcooked and nearly mealy. The whipped potato, which we were assured would be smooth, was lumpy and underseasoned. I considered the burger, but when I asked, the waitress mentioned its candied bacon. That wasn't listed on the menu and wasn't something I wanted, which was disappointing. Prices and menu set expectations for an elevated meal at a somewhat high price, but the cooking didn't deliver. I told them I was a Google reviewer and that the visit had been below par; no help was offered. I usually avoid giving less than three stars if I haven't given a place a chance to fix things. Proceed with caution. I wouldn't recommend it.
